Treated Like Royalty at Kings Tavern
If you have not yet been to Kings Tavern in Worthing, I highly recommend that you pay them a visit. I recently visited them on Easter Monday holiday with my boyfriend and some other members of his First Class Toastmasters club. This was my second visit. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch.
The purpose of the outing was so some of the club members could participate in a speech evaluation. As soon as we arrived, our server welcomed us warmly, and was extremely attentive throughout the remainder of the night. The $1 wings were definitely worth it. On this occasion we had the sweet chili, barbecue, and buffalo flavours. I also recommend the infamous wings for those who like some spice in their lives. We had these on our previous visit and they were hot even for me. Other members of our group ordered the wedges, sandwiched etc., and everyone was served within a reasonable time.
Of course we also took advantage of the happy hour. Those who know me well know I love happy hour. The music reminded me of a few years ago when partying was a big part of my lifestyle. In fact, I became so reminiscent that I sent a message in my group chat and told my girlfriends we need to do something soon.
Our server, along with other staff, continuously checked to ensure everything was good with our group and other groups in the bar. The staff were not the only friendly ones in the bar, however. Other patrons, both locals and tourists, were extremely personable and even cheered loudly when some of our group participated in the karaoke. There were also friendly pool games throughout the bar. After we finished dinner, the server obliged us by taking a photo of the entire group.
Overall, dinner at Kings Tavern was a great experience, and if you have not been as yet, I highly recommend it.
